CLUB PAIRS CHAMPIONSHIP, AGM & MEMBERSHIP FEES

The Club Pairs starts on Monday, 12 November & runs for 3 weeks. This is one of our most important events of the year but if you want to play, you must register. You can register via the Calendar on this site or by putting your names on the list on the Club notice board.

Also, don't forget the AGM which will be held after play on Wednesday, 14 November. 

Finally, membership fees are now due. Please make Linda's job a bit easier & pay now.

WHAT'S ON IN OCTOBER & NOVEMBER

The October pairs is a one day event on Friday, 26 October. This is a red point, walk in event.

The Club Pairs Championship will run on Mondays 12, 19 & 26 November. This is a red point event & prior registration is essential. Registration can be done via the sign up sheet on the Club notice board or the rolling calendar on the right of this page. Registration closes 5 November.

THE CLARE TROPHY

Congratulations to Charles Fisher for winning this year's Clare Trophy.

The runner up was Tim Cregan & the best placed contestants in the restricted category were Wendy Hawker & Fiona Templeton, who tied in 5th place.

Thank you to all participants for playing in the spirit of the event & special thanks to our director, Peter Gill, for his work in organising this day.

HUNTERS HILL CONGRESS

The Hunters Hill Congress was, once again, a huge success. Many thanks to all those members who helped by contributing food. A special mention should be made of Geoff Lawson, our Congress Organiser,  Ross & Fiona Templeton, who slaved away in the kitchen all day and of course, our President, Bob Ternes. Each of these people gave up their day and the opportunity to actually play the game they love, in order to ensure an enjoyable event for all the congress participants.

The winners of the Open section were David Hudson, Anita Curtis, Kim Neale & Linda King.

BEGINNERS LESSONS COMING UP

Our Australian Bridge Federation accredited teacher, Carol Sheldrake, will be conducting a 6 week course for beginners commencing on Monday, 15 October, 7.15pm-9.15pm.

Where: Hunters Hill Bridge Club, Crown St, Henley

Cost: $120 for the 6 lessons, including a workbook & light refreshments.

WHAT'S ON IN SEPTEMBER

The Clare Trophy, the Club Teams Championship & the Friday Spring Pairs are all coming up in September. 

Clare Trophy (green points):      Monday, 17 September.This is an individual event & a lot of fun. However, the movement needs to be determined by the director beforehand & prior registration by 13 September is essential.

Hunters Hill Congress is filling up!
